Who We Are
We do not live to become. We live from what has already been given.
Starr Ministry Press exists to restore clarity to the Christian life. Not by adding more pressure. Not by increasing effort. But by revealing what has already been established in Christ. We believe the foundation of everything is not behavior—it is Origin. When origin is clear, life becomes aligned. When origin is misaligned, life becomes exhausting.
At the center of everything we are and do is a simple desire: to know Christ and to make Him known. These values are the rhythms of a life shaped by grace and anchored in truth.
We joyfully acknowledge Jesus Christ as the head of His Church. We submit our lives, our leadership, and our ministry to His will and good pleasure.
(Ephesians 1:22–23)Scripture is not merely information - it is revelation. God’s Word is living and active, and it speaks into every season of life. The Bible is our final authority.
(Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:16)We never outgrow our need for grace. Our salvation was received by grace, and our lives are sustained by grace. Because we are recipients of mercy, we extend mercy.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 5:8)We believe wholeness grows where honesty is welcomed. None of us stands perfect before God, but all of us are being transformed into Christ’s image.
(Ephesians 4:25–32)Excellence is our response of worship. Through preparation, intentionality, and faithfulness, we seek to honor God in all we do.
(Colossians 3:17)We rejoice in the work of God beyond our walls. We partner with other ministries, trusting that the Kingdom is larger than any single expression.
(John 17:23; Romans 10:14–15)We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God - fully God and fully man. He came to reveal the Father, redeem humanity, and restore all things. He lived without sin, died for our sins, rose in victory, and reigns in glory. One day He will return, and every knee will bow to His Name.
John 1:1–5; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Titus 2:13The Holy Spirit is God with us and within us. He convicts, comforts, teaches, empowers, and transforms. From the moment of salvation, He dwells in every believer, guiding us into truth and shaping us into the image of Christ.
John 14:16–17; Acts 1:8; Galatians 5:25Salvation is a gift - received, not earned. Through faith in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven, made new, and brought into eternal life. Salvation begins now and continues forever.
Ephesians 2:8–9; John 1:12The Church is the Body of Christ - called to worship, to grow, and to carry the Gospel into the world. We believe in the local church as a place of spiritual formation, mission, and Spirit-led community.
Acts 2; Ephesians 4:11–13
